The Clar Hope Foundation continues to make meaningful strides in supporting vulnerable children and strengthening partnerships across Liberia.
Throughout March 2026, the Foundation carried out several impactful activities focused on education, engagement, and collaboration.
Strengthening Partnerships with the Liberian Council of Churches
In March, the Foundation welcomed a delegation from the Liberian Council of Churches to its facility in Margibi County. The visit marked a significant step toward building stronger institutional partnerships.
The meeting included key representatives such as Rev. Dr. Chris Toe, General Secretary; Rev. Sanjrr Stepter, First Vice President; and Rev. Melvin Kennedy, Good Governance Coordinator.
Discussions were described as productive, focusing on collaboration and support for underprivileged children under the Foundation’s care. The Foundation expressed optimism about future partnerships, emphasizing that collective efforts are key to building a brighter future for Liberia’s youth.
French Day Celebration
Students also took part in a vibrant French Day celebration, where they explored language and culture through interactive activities. The event provided an opportunity for students to broaden their cultural understanding and develop an appreciation for the French language. students expressed their creativities through painting and dancing French songs.
Celebration of the CEO’s Birthday
March was also marked by the celebration of the birthday of the Foundation’s CEO, Clar Marie Weah.
Students and staff joined in honoring her leadership and dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable children. The celebration served as a moment of appreciation for her continued commitment to humanitarian service.
World Book Day Celebration
The Foundation also joined the global celebration of World Book Day with engaging and educational activities for its students.
As part of the celebration:
- Students participated in reading sessions to promote literacy and learning.
- The girls enjoyed a recreational bus ride, combining education with fun and exposure.
Student Preparations and Creative Activities
In the days leading up to World Book Day, students actively prepared for the celebration through various creative exercises.
Activities included, painting their favorite storybook characters, showcasing creativity and imagination and participating in Friday quizzing practice sessions to enhance knowledge and confidence
These activities helped foster a love for reading while encouraging self-expression among students.
Appreciation for Staff and Students
The Foundation extended appreciation to its hardworking staff for their dedication and commitment to nurturing young minds. Special recognition was also given to students, including those in Year 1, for their enthusiasm and active participation in all activities.
