Clar Hope Foundation Founder’s Day

The Board of Trustee of the Clar Hope Foundation (CHF) has officially declared March 11 as CHF Founder’s Day.

The day will be observed every year in commemoration of the significant contributions of the Vision Bearer and Founder of CHF Madam Clar Marie Weah.

Making the declaration on behalf of the Board of Trustee, Mr. Mark Duncan said the decision to designate March 11 as Founder’s Day is part of a broader initiative in recognition of the countless contributions of Mrs. Weah in uplifting women and the underprivileged children within the Liberian society.

Mr. Duncan further stated that for several years, Mrs. Weah has dedicated her time, energy and resources in helping the underprivileged which is marking positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries and therefore there is a need for recognition.

Also speaking at the official launch of the CHF Founder’s Day, H.E. George M. Weah Former President of the Republic of Liberia retrospection on the beginning of the establishment of the Clar Hope Foundation and the construction of the city of Hope Complex in Marshall, Margibi county extended his sincere thanks and appreciations to friends and donors for their supports in making his wife dream a reality.

In response, Madam Clar Marie Weah said it is an honor for the Board of Trustee to declare March 11 in remembrance and recognition of her work in Liberia. She at the same time expressed here sincere gratitude to supporters and donors for their continuous support.
